J.B. Dawson Family Reunion


The fourth Dawson family reunion was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 4th and 5th, 2015 at the Dawson-Carpenter Ranch near Hayden, Colorado. 58 adults and 9 children attended the reunion on Tuesday. It was a wonderful day at the ranch. 26 folks took the tractor pulled wagon tour of the city of Hayden on Wednesday.

This is Lori, Tom, and Linda Dawson, descendants of J.B. Dawson's son Si, in Dawson Springs, Kentucky.  This town was named for Augustus Green Dawson, the brother of Thomas Henry Dawson who was J.B Dawson's father.  This is north of Roaring Springs, Kentucky.  The home of Augustus and Thomas Henry's father, Thomas Dawson, is located in Roaring Springs.

John Dawson house on the National Register of Historic Places list as a Thomas Dawson house in Cadiz, Kentucky.  John is the brother of Thomas who is the grandfather of J.B. Dawson.

Thomas Dawson and Mary Ann Clay's house in Roaring Springs, Kentucky at the end of Gary Cemetery Road.  Thomas and Mary were the grandparents of J.B. Dawson.

Henry Clay's stone house, built in 1786.  Henry Clay was the father of Mary Ann Clay who married Thomas Dawson and was the grandmother of J.B. Dawson.  This home is being restored by the current owner.
